Heavy rain still possible overnight

Strong thunderstorms have made their way through parts of Siouxland Saturday especially in a line from Pocahontas southwest to Denison to Missouri Valley.

There were even a couple of tornado warnings in the afternoon!

The evening has been mostly quiet but thunderstorms are again rolling in from the south with the possibility of gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

More storms will come into western Siouxland over the next couple of hours and will bring high rainfall rates through the area in addition to some gusty winds.

The strongest gusts do look to stay south of Siouxland though.

All of the thunderstorm activity will begin to slow in the overnight hours leaving us with a few lingering showers Sunday morning.

Skies will continue to clear through the afternoon hours leaving us with a pleasant afternoon.
