**Heat Advisory for most of Siouxland Wednesday from noon to 8 pm**
For most of us it was just another hot and humid day with highs near 90.
Things were a little different in northeastern Siouxland where a couple thunderstorms were able to form and move through during the first half of the day helping hold down temperatures a little bit.
Some of those storms even became severe with winds strong enough to cause some tree damage from Dickinson County down through Clay and Palo Alto Counties as well.
Tonight and tomorrow will stay quiet with more heat and humidity.
In fact, Wednesday could give us a heat index of over 100 degrees in many location so a Heat Advisory has been issued for much of Siouxland from noon to 8 pm tomorrow.
A bit of a pattern change happens on Thursday as a few thunderstorms will become possible and we’ll have more chances of thunderstorms right on through Sunday.
We’ll be a little cooler from Friday through Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 80s but it will stay very humid.
Monday could be pretty pleasant with partly sunny skies and highs near 80.
Then another chance of thunderstorms moves back in on Tuesday.
