Norfolk, NE dedicates new splash pad

The city of Norfolk, Nebraska, is preparing to dedicate a new splash pad.

Thursday, at 6 p.m., the city will officially dedicate the Embrace Park Splash Pad on West Benjamin Avenue.

The splash pad has a timer which runs for 11 hours during the day.

It can be activated by hitting a play button in the center of the pad.

Once activated, the water will run for four minutes and can be reset by pushing the play button once time is up.

The splash pad will be available to use until September 30th.

Funds for the splash pad were raised by the same volunteers who raised money for the playground at Embrace park.
