Siouxland kids have Summer fun at Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center

Some Siouxland children spent Wednesday morning having some fun.

They gathered at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Sioux City.

It’s part of the Junior Explorers group the Interpretive Center offers.

An obstacle course was organized outside of the center for the kids to enjoy.

The experience also is a way for children to make new friends.

"Well, because it’s fun to meet friends because then you can play with them and have more fun," says 7-year-old Junior Explorer Jacob.

The next event will be on July 18th at 11 A.M.

Children will be able to learn about the youngest soldier on the Lewis and Clark Expedition and play games.
