Storms move back into Siouxland’s forecast

**Heat Advisory for most of Siouxland until 8 PM Thursday**

Today became as hot as advertised as highs in the low to mid 90s combined with dew points in the 70s to send the heat index to over 100 degrees for most of us.

Tomorrow is going to be hot and humid again but it will also come with a chance of thunderstorms.

The storm chances begin by the afternoon and could become more widespread later in the day and into Thursday night.

Some of these storms could produce some hail and gusty winds with much of Siouxland in a "slight risk" of seeing severe storms.

It looks like thunderstorms will continue Friday with more chances on Saturday and Sunday as an active weather pattern takes over again.

Temperatures will be a little cooler from Friday through Sunday but it will stay very humid during that time so it still won’t be all that comfortable outside.

More substantial cooling is expected after a cold front moves through on Sunday.

So that makes Monday appear to be a pretty enjoyable day with highs near 80 with slightly lower humidity levels as well.

A slight chance of thunderstorms returns on Tuesday with drier conditions again by Wednesday with highs both days in the low 80s.
