Tia Heidebrecht

Tia grew up in Emerson, Nebraska. It’s the town where three counties meet.

Tia graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration.

Tia started her TV news career in North Platte, Nebraska as a reporter. She learned so much in western Nebraska and it was a great experience. In 2005, she moved back to Siouxland and started working at KTIV as the afternoon editor. Eventually, Tia took the position of chief photographer. In 2013, she moved to be KTIV’s Internet Director and she’s recently been promoted to Executive Producer.

Tia is married to Dave Winslow, former KTIV Morning Meteorologist and has two children, Jackson and Pierce.
