X’s lose at home 6-2, Wichita win

The X’s are back on their homeland with a high note from a 4 game sweep against the Texas Airhogs.

But the Explorers couldn’t seem to find their niche.

Tonight the X’s hosted the Wichita Wingnuts.

Right away Wichita came out strong scoring early.

Top of the Second Angel Ryes hits one out of the fence for a home run. Wingnuts are now up one to nothing.

It doesn’t stop there for Wichita. Top of the third with One on base, as Logan Watkins sends one down the pipe leading Leo Vargas to home plate. Score is now two to zero. Bottom of the third, X’s have one on third. as Jay Baum hit a fly ball that ALMOST went over the fence, but with a lucky catch that will end the inning.

Explorers will fall short 6-2.
