DECISION 2018: Sen. Krist talks major issues for Nebraskan’s in sit down with KTIV

All three Siouxland states are holding elections for governor this November.

In Nebraska, incumbent Governor Pete Ricketts will face Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate State Senator Bob Krist.

The 61-year-old Krist was appointed to the Nebraska Legislature by Gov. Dave Heineman in 2009 to serve out the term of Mike Friend.

He was elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014.

Krist’s term will end due to term limits in January 2019.

On Thursday he spoke to KTIV’s Stella Daskalakis about the major issues facing the state, as well as the recent investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in O’Neill, Nebraska.
