One person killed after crossing highway in West Point, NE

WEST POINT, NE (KTIV) – An 86-year-old man from Brazil has been hit and killed while crossing a highway in West Point, Nebraska.

The Cuming County Sheriff’s office says Leonard Reeson was walking across Highway 275 when he was hit Wednesday morning.

He died at the Hospital in West Point from his injuries.

Officials say the 29-year-old driver and a passenger were treated for minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.

Reeson was visiting relatives in West Point.
