Water main repaired in downtown Sioux City

A water main break in downtown Sioux City has forced the June E. Nylen Cancer Center and the Sioux City Art Center to close.

The break happened Friday morning and most of 3rd Street in that area was closed to make the repairs.

The issue has been fixed and water has been restored to the Ho-Chunk building, Art Center and the Cancer Center.

Clean up will continue in the area and the Art Center will reopen Friday afternoon.
