Gov. Ricketts stops in Siouxland for Governor’s Cup Thank You Tour

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Nebraska (KTIV)- Nebraska  Governor Pete Ricketts kicked off his annual Governor’s Cup Thank You Tour Monday by making a stop in Siouxland.

Governor Ricketts stopped at McArthur Sheet Metal Works, in South Sioux City.

He toured the business and thanked employees for helping the state win the 2017 Governor’s Cup award.

“We wanted to thank them and all of the things that go into those investments,” said Gov. Pete Ricketts, (R) Nebraska. “Which essentially comes down to creating more jobs, which allows our Nebraska families to enjoy the good life here in our state.”

Nebraska won the 2017 Governor’s Cup from Site Selection magazine for having the most economic development projects, per capita, in the nation.
