Dakota City begins street paving project

DAKOTA CITY, Nebraska (KTIV) –  Dakota City will have more paved streets.

Sioux City Engineering started pouring concrete yesterday for Dakota City’s 2018 Street Improvement Project.

The first streets to be paved this week, are North 7th Street and North 6th street.

Olive Street and Cedar Street are scheduled for next week, if the project stays on schedule.

This will be Dakota city’s second paving project in two years.

When the project is complete, the city will add 14 blocks of pavement, bringing the total number of paved streets added to the community to 27 blocks, in the last two years.
