SPENCER, Iowa (KUOO Radio) – Commercial air service could be returning to Spencer.
City officials and the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation say they’ve been in talks with an Air Choice One, a regional carrier out of St. Louis.
Air Choice One offers flights from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
They service regional airports in Fort Dodge and Mason City.
Officials say the talks are ongoing and nothing has been finalized.
Mayor Kevin Robinson says they’re in the final stages of due diligence and continue to seek public input.
