Two people injured after Highway 20 crash

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Nebraska (KTIV) –  Two people are being treated a local hospital after their SUV rear-ended a semi and entered a ditch.

The crash happened outside of South Sioux City on Highway 20 near the intersection of Highway 110.

That’s near Martin Airfield.

After the SUV rear-ended the semi it entered the ditch and went through some small trees.

The Dakota County Sheriffs Office said the injuries are unknown, but looked serious.

The Nebraska State Patrol, Dakota County Sheriffs Office, Dakota City Ambulance, and South Sioux City Police assisted at the scene.
