LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV)- The Le Mars Police department now has a new home.

The department moved into a new building this week.

The building is located on 5th Avenue Northwest.

Police say the new building is a much-needed upgrade.

The building was previously a car dealership and was renovated with police in mind.

The building has a lot more space than the previous building and features two interview rooms, a workspace for officers and a garage for all the police cars.
