SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Happy New Year!
We’ve started off 2019 with some colder temperatures, but a return of some sunshine as well.
The high for today was in the upper single digits, but the wind chill made us feel below zero.
Tonight we will keep those clear skies, but the low will be in the lower single digits with wind chills around -5.
The winds eventually shift and begin to come from the South, which will help us to keep from getting any colder.
Tomorrow the sunshine sticks around and temperatures start to warm up once again.
The high will be in the upper 20s, but we can expect it to gradually increase over the next few days.
Sunshine will remain through the rest of the work week.
Thursday will reach a high in the upper 30s, and Friday and Saturday will break into the low 40s.
Sunday and Monday will have a mostly cloudy sky with highs in the upper 30s.
Tuesday the clouds begin to decrease, but the high will drop to the low 30s.
