On Saturday, professionals gathered at the Holistic Health expo to help improve the mind, body, and spirit of the community.
For the fifth year, the annual Holistic Health Expo to teach self-care to locals.
The expo is Siouxland’s largest event for all practices that focus on the mind body and spirit.
On Saturday, intuitive readers, massage therapist and chiropractors gathered to heal siouxland.
Over 50 vendors were present at the Delta Hotels by Mariott in South Sioux City for the event.
Organizers say that on average, the guest count can be anywhere from 300 to 400 people.
Vendors say that offering these services, empowers locals to take better care of themselves.
“This gives them the tools to do that, whether they need some sort of emotional relief, they can find that through reike or if they need physical relief they can get it through massage therapy and if they need spiritual relief we have many people here that can provide that as well,” says Drew Moss, Co-owner of Main Street Massage and Wellness Center.
The event went on until 5 this afternoon
At 7, a group hypnotherapy session, focusing on releasing emotional and mental blocks from childhood took place.
