**Winter Weather Advisory for most of Siouxland until early Tuesday morning**
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Early in the day, we were seeing fog and freezing drizzle, especially in western Siouxland.
Then some light snow developed and that’s what will continue for a while into the overnight hours.
Accumulations aren’t expected to be too heavy with most of central and western Siouxland seeing less than an inch.
Eastern Siouxland is still looking like the region that will see the most with 1 to 3 inches possible there.
Because of the combination of the light snow and a little freezing drizzle, there is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for most of Siouxland until Tuesday morning.
Tuesday is going to be very windy.
So any of the newly fallen snow could still blow around during the day, but no more will be falling as we’ll see clearing skies and highs in the low 20s.
Wednesday is looking like a decent enough day with a lot of sunshine and highs warmer in the low 30s.
Thursday will start to bring in more clouds and cooler temperatures again as highs hit the low 20s.
There will be a chance of light snow from Thursday night into Friday morning with highs on Friday only in the low teens.
Saturday should stay mostly dry although another chance of some light snow develops again by Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Highs over the weekend will stay chilly in the upper teens.
On Monday, we’ll be looking at mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid teens.
