*Winter Weather Advisory for northeastern Siouxland until 9 PM Tuesday*
(KTIV) – The snow has come to a close with many locations ending up in the 1 to 3 inch range.
Sunshine will continue to break through the clouds from west to east.
It will be windy, however, with northwest winds gusting up to 40 mph through the afternoon.
With the fresh, light snow on the ground, blowing snow will reduce visibility through the day.
It will also be feeling cold with wind chills in the single digits.
By the nighttime hours, temperatures will drop into the single digits with wind chills below zero.
Luckily the winds will be calming down at that point.
We warm up Wednesday on the back of breezy southerly winds, pushing us into the mid 30s.
But we’ll go back down again after that with 20s on Thursday and highs in the teens on Friday.
Our next chance for light snow arrives on Friday as well.
