(NBC) – A new study suggests that a power nap may actually be good for your heart.

Greek researchers studied over 200 people and recorded their blood pressure for 24-hours.

Those who took a roughly hour-long nap were more likely to have a noticeable drop in their blood pressure compared to those who didn’t snooze.

The decrease was similar to what is typically found in people who had made lifestyle changes to lower their blood pressure including medications.

Experts say even just the smallest decrease in your blood pressure can reduce your risk of a heart attack by 10 percent.
