NORFOLK, Nebraska (KTIV) – Officials at a Norfolk hospital are asking for help in routing patients properly due to flooding in the area.
Faith Regional Health Services made the request on Thursday.
They are asking people with special needs that have a caretaker, supplies and medicine, or that need shelter to go to the evacuation centers.
Patients that need emergent care will be screened and triaged in the Emergency Department. They may be discharged to area evacuation centers, allowing more capacity for critical situations.
