SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KTIV) – Students at Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School will be back in class Friday for the first time since Tuesday.
That follows groundwater flooding that hit the school early Wednesday.
Then after cleanup began on Wednesday, the school was hit with a second wave of flooding.
So, crews had to start all over again.
The school will be back in session Friday.
But because the school’s kitchen is still being restored, and sanitized, the school will offer a “sack lunch” option tomorrow.
