Sioux City (KTIV) – Briar Cliff hosted Dakota Wesleyan for a Sunday doubleheader. DWU won both games 16-3 and 8-5.

In game one, DWU scored five in the top of the first inning. The Chargers would attempt to get back in it in the third inning. A Ben Pigg single drove in Nick Robinson to cut the Tigers lead to 5-1. Briar Cliff had a chance to add more but Tyler Hill grounded into an inning ending double play.

The Tigers offense stayed hot the rest of the way tallying nine more runs in the game one rout.

Briar Cliff returns to the diamond Saturday, April 13th against Mount Marty.
