UPDATE: I-90 from Chamberlain to Sioux Falls, I-29 from Sioux Falls to ND reopen

UPDATE:

PIERRE, South Dakota (KTIV) – Officials with the South Dakota DOT have reopened I-90 from Chamberlain to Sioux Falls, and I-29 from Sioux Falls to the North Dakota border.

Earlier Friday officials reopened I-90 from Rapid City to Chamberlain.

Compacted snow, ice and blowing snow will continue to make travel difficult. Plow drivers will be out on Friday, so officials ask that drivers give them room to work.

Before heading out, check road condition information at www.safetravelusa.com/sd, on the SDDOT 511 app or by calling 5-1-1.
