Bandits whip Wichita to end two game skid

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) — The Sioux City Bandits broke a two-game losing streak with a 70-30 win over the Wichita Force on Friday night at the Tyson Events Center. It was a season-high point total for Sioux City.

The Bandits got three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown from quarterback Dillon Turner in the first half and led 35-17 at the half. Sioux City also got a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown from Oscar Opara. Turner finished with five scoring passes.

Andre London caught a TD pass early in the second half to expand the led to 42-17. Dillon connected with Londell Lee for a second scoring play to lead 56-24 after three quarters. Wichita fell to 2-5 with the loss.

The Bandits (2-3) travel to Enid, Oklahoma, next Saturday May 11 to play the Flying Aces.
