The weekend closed on a cool and wet note with Sunday afternoon stuck in the 40s for much of Siouxland.
That carried into the morning with some of us falling well into the 30s.
It will be another cool, though not quite as cold, day with highs in the 50s.
Scattered showers will be possible in the afternoon with the best chances in western Siouxland.
Showers again become likely throughout the area overnight with rain likely through the course of our Tuesday.
We may have a few thunderstorms as well with winds strong out of the east.
By the time the rain stops, some areas could push to near two inches.
We do dry out and warm up on Wednesday with temperatures returning to the 70s.
We hold on to those through the rest of the week but wet weather doesn’t stay away for long with thunderstorms returning on Thursday.
Things are looking to dry out again for Friday and Saturday.
