SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – For over 13 years, Opportunities Unlimited has helped Siouxland children stay safe on their bicycles.

The organization donates bike helmets to local second graders.

In the past, they have only had enough helmets to give one to every four students per class.

But this year is different.

Thanks to a grant from Dairy Queen, Opportunities Unlimited was able to give out a free helmet to every student in every second-grade class they visited.

On Thursday the organization donated helmets at Holy Cross School Saint Michael’s center.
