SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – After a few isolated thunderstorms moved through Siouxland last night, today turned sunny and warm again as highs topped out in the 80s.
We’re going to see temperatures stay above average in the 80s for another three days before cooler changes arrive on Sunday.
We’re also going to stay dry for both Thursday and Friday and in fact our skies will be mostly sunny.
By Saturday, a chance of thunderstorms will start to creep into the forecast although it’s looking like western Siouxland will stand the better chances of seeing the rain.
That chance of thunderstorms gets better for all of us by Saturday night.
Sunday could then give us some lingering rain showers as highs will stay much cooler in the upper 60s.
Monday looks to stay drier and we’ll warm up just a little bit with highs in the low 70s.
Showers and maybe a few thunderstorms will become possible on Tuesday and we’ll stay below average in the low 70s.
Expect partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with highs near 70.
