SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani will be the guest speaker at the 2019 Siouxland Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting in September.
The 34th annual event is set for Tuesday, September 17 at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City.
Giuliani served as the 107th mayor of New York City from 1994 – 2001. He currently serves as an attorney to President Donald Trump.
Giuliani’s keynote speech is entitled “Principled Leadership in the Face of Change and Crisis.” His speech is set for 7:30 p.m. that night.
In years past the Chamber has hosted an Annual Dinner for the event at the Sioux City Convention Center. This year Chris McGowan, Siouxland Chamber President, said the event will be considered an ‘Annual Meeting’ at the Orpheum. He said because of construction and remodeling at the Convention Center, an alternate location and change in the event was needed.
Premium seating is available on a first come, first served basis in blocks of 10 tickets for $2,500, $2,300, and $1,900. Premium seating can be reserved on contacting the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce at (712) 255-7903, and includes admission to a private reception with the speaker.
Individual tickets are available for $55, $45, and $25 by visiting the Orpheum Theatre’s website or by stopping by the Primebank Box Office at the Tyson Events Center.
During the event, the Siouxland Chamber will present the W. Edward Deming Award for Business Leadership and Entrepreneurial Excellence, the 2019 Ambassador of the Year award, and the USS Sioux City Sailors of the Year.
