(NBC News) – This Sunday is Father’s Day, and dad’s across the nation will be celebrated for their parenting skills. But a new poll shows many are actually being criticized for some perceive as a lack of them.
Researchers at the University of Michigan surveyed over 700 fathers, and half say they have faced criticism, with one in five saying it discourages them from being more involved in parenting.
In the survey, two-thirds of the dads said they got the most criticism over disciplinary choices, followed by diet and how they played with their child.
And the biggest daddy shamers? Family members, including the other parent.
