Explorers win in extra innings to get fourth straight victory

CLEBURNE, Texas (KTIV) — The Sioux City Explorers beat Cleburne, 6-3, in ten innings on Saturday night. The X’s now have a season-high four game winning streak and improve to 13-16 overall.

Sioux City trailed 3-1 in the seventh before a two-out double by Kyle Wren drove in two runners to tie the game at 3-3. Wren, Michael Lang and Nate Samson scored in the tenth inning to provide the winning margin. Sioux City had just seven hits in the game and committed three errors.

Game three of the four-game series is Sunday at 6:05 pm.
