MILFORD, Iowa (KTIV) — Okoboji’s Kallyn Stumbo has accepted a scholarship offer at Indiana State.

The senior-to-be averaged 16.5 points per game for the Pioneers last season, as they went 19-3. She also led the team in rebounding at over ten per game. Stumbo averaged 14 points per game as a sophomore and 16 as a freshman.

Stumbo made her announcement on Twitter. She will join an Indiana State team that plays in the Missouri Valley Conference and has three international players on the roster.

The school does have a rich basketball tradition. Hall of Famer Larry Bird led the Sycamores to the NCAA championship game in 1979.
