SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The Sioux City Community School District is getting a big boost to their music program, thanks to the Barry Manilow Music Project.
The district recently won 2nd place and $20,000 in the project. The money will be used to buy new band instruments.
Sioux City Public Schools completed the submission on the district’s behalf. Officials say this funding will help to enhance music education in the area.
