Bandits season comes to an end with loss to Omaha

OMAHA, Nebraska (KTIV)– The Sioux City Bandits will not make the playoffs after a 60-50 loss at Omaha Saturday night. The Bandits and Beef entered the night tied in the standings with the winner getting into the playoffs.

Quarterback Dillon Turner had a great game for Sioux City. He threw for 225 yards and six touchdowns. Turner also added 63 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Bubba Jenkins carries the ball six times for 62 yards and a score. On the receiving end for the Bandits, Fred Bruno hauled in seven passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Londell Lee four catches for 50 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bandits finish the season with a 7-5 record.
