SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The early morning started out with some light showers and some isolated thunderstorms moving across Siouxland.
This caused the start of our day to be a bit cloudy.
But as the day moved forward, the clouds started to clear out, and we gained some sunshine.
The high was in the mid 80s. The rest of the day will continue to have partly cloudy skies. Clouds do start to move in as we get towards midnight.
Thunderstorms will move in overnight as well.
All of Siouxland has a marginal risk of seeing a severe thunderstorm, but the northern parts have a higher, slight risk.
These storms could bring strong winds and large hail.
Most of these storms occur while many of us will be sleeping, but isolated storms and showers will linger into the morning.
They will leave the region from the east by the afternoon.
Thursday still remains warm, with a high in the upper 80s.
The lows for the rest of the week have also warmed up.
All of them lingering around 70.
