(KTIV) – Officials with the Ronald McDonald House are looking for Siouxlanders to help them restock their kitchen during the summer.
During the holidays, the Ronald McDonald House receives many donations. But during the summer, the cupboards for their kitchens at UnityPoint Health-St. Lukes and MercyOne Medical Center can be a little bare.
Officials are asking for any extra donations people could give for their kitchen, from Keurig Coffee K-cups to chips, granola bars, small individual cereals and even small heatable meals like Chef Boyardee.
The kitchen is for people not only staying at the Ronald McDonald House but for anyone with children in one of Sioux City’s hospitals.
