NORFOLK, Nebraska (KTIV) —  Expect citations against a Norfolk, Nebraska, woman, after police say her dogs attacked, and killed, two smaller dogs, last week.

On Wednesday, July 3, Norfolk Police say they were alerted to two Husky dogs were running at large in north Norfolk.

Officers initially couldn’t catch the dogs, but were able to identify them as animals previously declared “dangerous,” after they attacked, and killed, a smaller dog, last year.

While officers searched for the dogs, on July 3, they say the dogs attacked and killed two more smaller dogs.

Officers were able to stop and catch one of the dogs with the use of a taser, but the other dog had to be euthanized.

Police expect citations against the owner, Kathy Wik, of Norfolk.
