Heat and humidity to build back in

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – We got to enjoy another pleasant day on Thursday with highs a bit below average again and it still wasn’t overly humid.

But get ready for warm changes to move back in.

On Friday, we’ll see highs near 90 degrees and dew points will head back up into the upper 60s.

And this warmer trend will be sticking with us for a long time.

Highs over the weekend will be near 90 degrees.

Monday may turn even warmer as we get into the low 90s.

We’ll then continue to hover around 90 into the latter part of next week.

It’s looking like our best chances of storms at this point will be on Friday night with some possibly lingering into Saturday morning, especially in eastern Siouxland.

We could also see a couple chances of nighttime storms as we get into next week.
