SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Hundreds of new jobs are promised with the addition of a new call center in Sioux City.

Marlowe Companies Inc., the parent company of Mass Markets, is moving Mass Markets back to Sioux City with a new 500-plus seat center on Discovery Boulevard, near the Sioux Gateway Airport.

The new site opened for production in the second quarter of 2019 and will operate under the MCI brand.

“The new site and multi-brand location are a strategic move by MCI to accommodate current and future growth,” said Anthony Marlowe, MCI CEO. “As an organization, MCI grew by a factor of four times the last few years via organic and inorganic growth, and we are bringing in hundreds of new jobs to the Siouxland market. The economy is on fire.”

MCI says the new 50,000 square foot facility will allow for over 300 employees in 2019, and up to 500 employees in 2020.

“We are hiring experienced customer service, business process outsourcing (BPO), and call center management as well and customer service and inside sales talent”, said Joe Vondracek, Vice President of Operations.
