SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The Siouxland Community Foundation awarded a total of $50,000 to non-profit organizations this Wednesday afternoon.
The grants come from the Fund for Siouxland, who gathers contributions from individuals, families, and corporations, and other foundations in order to benefit the Siouxland community.
Center for Siouxland, Food Bank of Siouxland, and Jackson Recovery Center are some of the agencies who were awarded the grants.
The grants will go towards projects the organizations are currently working on. Some projects include learning programs, a library, and a tax assistance program.
