SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A cold front passed through Siouxland last night, bringing us some cooler air from up north.
This caused our temperatures to drop slightly last night and today.
The high was in the mid 70s.
A majority of us had some mostly cloudy skies, but some sunshine peeked through.
Tonight, some eastern areas of Siouxland may see some light showers.
The clouds will increase, and the low will be in the mid 50s.
Thursday brings back thunderstorm chances.
The thunderstorms start in the western portions of Siouxland.
By the mid afternoon the storms look to spread, and mainly focus over central Siouxland.
The thunderstorms continue east all the way through the evening hours, and into the start of the night.
The chances of these storms being severe is currently more for the western half of Siouxland, but it’s a good day for everyone to keep checking in on the radar.
Friday will be partly cloudy, with a high in the low 80s.
Friday night brings back more chances of thunderstorms.
Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy, with highs in the low 80s.
The start of the work week will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 80s.
