SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A cold front passed across Siouxland last night.
Along that cold front, thunderstorms developed and rolled across Siouxland.
There were several severe thunderstorms throughout the early morning hours, with reports of large hail and damaging wind gusts.
The storms stuck around up until 5 in the morning.
Once they moved out, calmer weather took its place.
The cold front has cooled the region down a few degrees once again, but the temperatures reached the upper 70s for the high.
The skies stayed mostly cloudy for the first half, but began to clear by the evening.
Tonight the skies stay clear, with a low in the upper 50s.
On Monday things begin to heat back up.
The sky will be mostly sunny, with a high in the mid 80s.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with a possible isolated thunderstorm.
The high will get a little warmer, near 90.
Tuesday night thunderstorm chances return.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with a high in the upper 70s.
Thursday will be partly cloudy, with a high near 80.
Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high in the mid 80s.
The weekend will be partly cloudy, with highs in the mid 80s.
