(KTIV) – The school year may be starting but there are still plenty of summer activities going on in Hubbard, Nebraska.
The town will be holding there annual Hoot Owl Days from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25.
Activities include a parade, a 5K run, and live music from local bands. There will also be a lawnmower poker run as well as a motorcycle poker run with Kylar’s Riders, an organization that contributes to preemie support and awareness.
Money raised over the weekend will go into funding a new sound system for the Hubbard Community Center. Organizers say they want to provide better equipment to people who want to rent out the facility.
