MILFORD, Iowa (KUOO) – Tonight’s the season and home-opener for the Okoboji High School football team in Milford. And the Pioneers will see some new improvements when they hit the field.
KTIV’s news partner KUOO Radio reports this morning school officials unveiled the completion of the new field turf and digital scoreboard at the school.
School officials say the project is not only a plus for the athletes and fans, but the district as well.
The president of the Okoboji School Board said the district spent between $50,000 to $60,000 a year maintaining the natural grass field.
Okoboji will host Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn tonight at 7 p.m.
