Norfolk, NE man sentenced in meth conspiracy

OMAHA, Neb. (KTIV) – A Norfolk, Nebraska, man is sentenced in federal court for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

The U-S Attorney, Monday, announced 42-year-old Christopher Harmeier, of Norfolk, was sentenced to 63-months in prison for the crime.

In 2017, law enforcement began investigating a drug trafficking organization they say was transporting large amounts of meth into Lincoln, Nebraska.

Investigators add, the meth was redistributed to local distributors, which included Harmeier in Norfolk, who was found in possession of two pounds of meth and $10,000.

The Drug Enforcement Administration, assisted by the Lincoln Police Department and Nebraska State Patrol, conducted the investigation.
