**Severe T-Storm Watch for western Siouxland until 3 am**
**Flash Flood Watch for western and central Siouxland, including Sioux City, until 7 am Thursday**
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – After a night of strong storms and heavy rain last night, we could see more storms tonight and again some could be strong with heavy rain.
A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect for most of western and central Siouxland, including Sioux City, until 7 am Thursday for the potential of more heavy rain.
And a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 3 am for western Siouxland for the potential of some gusty winds and maybe some large hail.
Thunderstorm chances will continue into Thursday morning with a smaller chance of a few storms in the afternoon, especially in eastern Siouxland.
Thursday will be cooler as a cold front will be moving through the region.
It’s also going to be getting less humid as the day goes along.
We finally see a much quieter day on Friday when sunshine will take over and it will be cooler and less humid with highs in the mid 70s.
Warmer weather starts to move back in on Saturday and with it a slight chance of of seeing a couple of afternoon thunderstorms with highs in the low 80s.
Those rain chances will be gone by Sunday as we’ll see highs in the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.
Quiet and warm conditions will continue into the middle of the week with highs in the mid 80s Monday through Wednesday.
