YANKTON, South Dakota (KTIV) – While floodwaters in some areas are beginning to recede, officials from Yankton County said they still need volunteers to help with sandbagging efforts.
Yankton County Emergency Management said there are a few families that will need help with sandbagging.
Officials are asking volunteers that are willing to help to meet Tuesday from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Yankton County Highway Department, 3302 West City Limits Road, in Yankton, South Dakota.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own work gloves and shovels if you have them.
