Bill De Blasio ends presidential campaign

New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race.

The Democrat made the announcement Friday, saying quote, “I feel like I’ve contributed all I can to this primary election and it’s clearly not my time”.

De Blasio failed to resonate in the polls and was criticized for neglecting his duties as mayor to run for president.

He also failed to qualify for the Democratic debate in September.

De Blasio says he is going to continue his work as mayor of New York City and to keep speaking up for the working people.
