Temperatures move back up to start Fall

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Overnight, showers and thunderstorms made their way across Siouxland, bringing most of us some rainfall.

The skies cleared up by the afternoon, and things remained cooler, thanks to a cold front that passed over the region in the past 24 hours.

The high stayed in the low 70s, with a partly cloudy sky.

Tonight will be mostly clear, and it stays cooler, with a low in the low 50s.

Tomorrow warms back up. The clearer sky sticks around, making it mostly sunny, and the high will be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday will have a few more clouds in the sky, with a high in the low 80s.

Tuesday night has a small chance of getting a thunderstorm.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with a high dropping back into the low 70s.

Thursday will be very similar to Wednesday, but Thursday night brings a chance of scattered thunderstorms.

Friday continues scattered thunderstorm chances.

The high will be in the mid 70s.

Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy.

With a high in the mid 70s and upper 70s consecutively.
