SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The days have slowly been improving compared to what we were experiencing when the cold front initially passed over Siouxland.
Temperatures slowly move back up, and we are seeing more sunshine.
The winds were expected to calm down today, but they’ve stayed gusty for our afternoon.
The good news is that throughout the day they should be decreasing.
Most of us though still feel like our actual air temperature, with the exception of northeastern Siouxland, who continue to feel a little cooler due to the wind chill.
The northeast is also getting a bit more cloud coverage than the rest of us.
Highs for the day were around 50, and the rest of the week is expected to be warmer.
Tonight will have clear skies, with a low near 30.
Monday will be partly cloudy, with the high going back into the low 60s.
On Tuesday the stronger, gustier winds return.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with a high in the low 50s.
Wednesday will be very similar to Tuesday, but without the high winds.
Thursday brings back more sunshine, and a high in the mid 60s.
Friday will have a few more clouds, but another high in the mid 60s.
Saturday will be similar to Friday. Saturday night has a chance of showers.
Sunday will continue to have rain chances, with a high in the low 60s
